The Gay Journal Survey Part 2. Everything Music!

About Us

The Gay Journal is a division of Gaugler-Libby, LLC. Stephen Libby and Gary Gaugler, Jr. started their LLC as a way to publish Gary’s Eliantar book series. Stephen had published Gaydar Magazine from 2004-2008 and returned to an LGBT magazine in response to people asking “when are you going to do another magazine?” A full-time hospice social worker, Stephen views The Gay Journal as a way to nurture his creative side. Stephen has interviewed dozens of LGBT (and LGBT friendly) personalities including Olympian Adam Rippon, Melissa Etheridge, Joan Jett, Barney Frank, Rufus Wainwright, Johnny Mathis, Cyndi Lauper, Chris Cornell, Margaret Cho, Olivia Newton-John, Patti LaBelle, Lisa Lampanelli, Michael Lucas, Bianca Del Rio, Well-Strung, Todd Stevens, Miss Coco Peru, Jeffery Roberson and Varla Jean Merman, photographers Joe Oppedisano and Tom Bianchi, artists Michael Breyette, Tom Jones and Steve Walker, writers Suzanne Brockmann and Suze Orman and many more.

The Gay Journal is a quarterly produced, full size, color, glossy infotainment publication for the LGBTQ population and their allies. We are based in the Lehigh Valley (pop. 900,000), a short distance from Philadelphia, NYC, NJ and Washington DC. We distribute in and around these cities as well as select book stores in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Provincetown, Key West with the purpose of promoting the Lehigh Valley as a vacation, relocation or retirement destination. Readers and advertisers are drawn to our design, balance of thought-provoking and absurd content, our celebrity interviews, honoring LGBT history while looking toward the future as well as to our low ad rates. Our contributors volunteer their time, energy and talent because of their dedication to the celebration of our community.
